We did it in 72 hours!
The square2square team completed thier massive 450 mile run in just 72 hours, even with one team taking them 30 miles off course. Natalie Brown, Celebrity Chef Micheal Kilkie and wife Lynda Kilkie, Joanne McFadden and support car driver our Client liason Lee Taylor Kerr made up Team C. Poor Natalie had the 4 mile uphill stint of Shap! The highest town in Britain. They took us to the finish, running from Abington Services to George Square after the tour bus broke down and the other team failed to relieve them.

ondon on the 10th June ending 13th June at George Square Glasgow for MacMillan Cancer, Crohns and Collitis Uk, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and SANDS Neonatal death and Still birth society. With the hope to raise £40,000 between our charities. For More info please click HERE.
Sporting Questions and Answers
Natalie and Lee attend the Sporting Q&A in Cricklewood Bothwell where Des McKeown, Bill Leckie, Gus McPherson and Peter Martin are speaking. Little Miss Fitness donated a block of 6 training sessions, Bill Leckie bids and wins them in the Charity Auction, collecting over £400 for our Charities.
Bucket Collecting
Natalie and Lee will be shaking thier charity buckets at all the major Colours gigs. The girls collected over £400 in only a few hours. Go Team!

Little Miss Fitness has joined a team of 12 runners in the hope of taking on the Mammoth task of running the length of the country in July 2011, planning is in the early stages but they are considering fundraising for four charities.

In the News
Little Miss Fitness teamed up with GMTV's nutritionist Amanda Hamilton, to conduct a four week program for the Sunday Mail 7 Days Magazine. The sessions took place at our clients home and she followed a short 15 minute program 3 days a week. Our client lost a huge amount of inches and was given a make over to show off the results.
Our very own Natalie Brown conducted the Warm Up for this years 10k for Cancer at strathclyde park. Live on a main stage in the pouring rain in from of over 2000 people she put on a brave face, and a smile as she hopped skipped and jumped her way through her routine without any music. Well done to all who took part in the race itself.
This year we had a record number of clients take part in our Race for Life team. The girls raised well over £1000 between them and the times ranges from 19 minutes to 55 minutes. We had several first time runners who had a great time and can't wait to sign up for the next "big race".
Every year just before the Race for Life, Little Miss Fitness holds organized park walks on Sunday Mornings. It is Free to all Clients, past and present and also anyone who wishes to take part in our Race for Life team. It is a chance to get to know other keen exercisers and share your experiences and thoughts. It is designed for all levels and the pace is strictly a relaxing walk. Little Miss Fitness Back to Basics bootcamp got off to a flying start and a roaring end this year. Held outdoors at Strathclyde Park come rain or shine, we had over 20 people signed up and it was the grubbiest six weeks ever. We drafted in Royal Marine Commando Graeme Murphy to take our first few sessions. The weather was not the best but everyone enjoyed themselves and went home feeling tired and extremely dirty.
Our long time friend and client, Ruth spread her wings and left the country seeking relaxation and exercise at a Yoga retreat in Italy. Donned up in her Little Miss Fitness T-shirt she took part in a weeks yoga and tai chi sessions. She met great new people and had an experience to last a lifetime, all the while getting fit and active. Go Ruth!
This year Little Miss Fitness took part in a case study with Sunday Mail Features editor Mickey McMonagle. The study took place over 4 weeks with Natalie Brown conducting the Training sessions and Nutrition. The article featured round our 4 for 4 block we had running last year, where clients had 4 sessions of PT a week for four weeks. The plan also has a very strict diet to follow but results were fantastic, with Mickey loosing a good number of inches and gaining a new found passion for fitness.
Little Miss Fitness staff and clients took part in the SSPCA Charity dog walk this summer. Natalie and Alan with Dalmatians Mia and Juno, Mickey and Deborah with Spaniels Fawkes and Sidney and Tiger the chiuaua walked around Strathclyde Country park along with over a hundred other dogs and owners in aid of the Scottish Animal Charity.
Little Miss Fitness took part in this years annual Yorkhill Children's Hospital easter egg run, Natalie and Partner Alan Murphy took to the streets of Glasgow in aid of Yorkhill's sick Children's foundation.
Several clients of Little Miss Fitness took part in the Race for Life at Glasgow Green this year. This was the first time we took part as a group and all participants got a fantastic Little Miss Fitness team Challenge T-Shirt. With our times coming in between 28 minutes to 45 minutes our girls did well and raised a whopping amount for Cancer Research UK.
