Swedish Massage

Body massage originated in Sweden. Swedish body massage is the original massage technique involving a sequence of movements working superficially and deeper into the tissue layers. This style utilizes long, flowing strokes. Oil, cream or lotion is applied on the skin to reduce friction and allow smooth strokes.  Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness and improving function in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee over a period of eight weeks. Relaxation
Planned relaxation calms anxiety and helps your body and mind recover from everyday rush and stress. Music, a long soak in the bath, or a walk in the park do the trick for some people, but for others it's not so easy. If you feel you need help with learning to relax, I can help you by taking you on a journey of self relaxation, It will completely set you at ease, allowing you to forget about your troubles and drift into a state of deep relaxation.

Sports Massage
Another method of relaxation is Sports Massage, this type of massage is alot deeper than many other methods and can if you have any knots be quite painful, although you can specify if you would like a relaxing sports massage. There are also many other benefits from massage such as increased circulation, increased supply of nutrients and oxygen to muscles, decreases muscle tension and increased lymphatic drainage. After a sports massage session I guarantee you will feel more relaxed and free from any little niggles you may have been feeling before.
